Another test. This time it was on multiple intelligences/ learning styles.
In this order my learning styles are…
Interpersonal (people smart) and Linguistic (word smart)
Musical
Naturalistic (nature smart)
Kinaesthetic (body smart)
Intrapersonal (myself smart)
Visual/ Spatial (picture smart)
I am not sure what to think of these results. I am very much interpersonal person, but I don’t know if that is the best way I learn. I have never thought of myself as a linguistic person, but I can understand how that makes sense. Music is one of my passions, but I don’t know if I learn that way. I think for different subjects I learn differently. Is that possible? If it is possible, how great that will be for how I can teach my students! By being well rounded I will be able to relate, at least in some ways, to each of my students.
Has anyone met a teacher like that? Do they even exist?

I think we are a lot alike Katie. I feel that for different areas of learning I use different intelligences. For some things songs are very helpful, for others flashcards, for others hand motions, still others teaching it to someone else. But it depends on which subject I am trying to learn to know how I will best be able to learn it.
